The Ozone EFFORT project (Ozone Effects on Forests in Trentino) was developed from 2007 to 2012 to study tropospheric ozone levels in forest areas with the aim of understanding the potential risks to vegetation associated with this pollutant.

The project was born from the collaboration between the Research and Innovation Center of the Edmund Mach Foundation and TerraData, with the participation of the Forestry and Wildlife Service personnel.

TerraData dealt with the following activities: design, detection of ozone symptoms on vegetation, data organization and analysis, correlative studies, modeling of ozone concentrations and development of potential risk maps.
