Eubon
EUBON was a project funded by the 7th Framework Program aimed at developing a system to facilitate access to high quality biodiversity data.
The main objective of EU BON was to build a substantial part of the Group on Earth Observation’s Biodiversity Observation Network (GEO BON).
EU BON proposed an innovative approach in terms of integration of biodiversity information system from on-ground to remote sensing data, for addressing policy and information needs in a timely and customized way.
The project involved 30 partners from 18 countries.
TerraData partecipated in the Work Packages 2 (Data integration and interoperability), 5 (EU BON testing and validation of concepts, tools, and services) and 8 (Dissemination and outreach).
